Clubs

Clubs are like-minded artists that get together to meet regularly, forming relationships while they create their art! Only limited spaces available in each club, so click on the link below the Club you like and visit our meetup sites for more information and to RSVP! If you are new to "Meetup.com," we think you will love it! It allows us to automate the process of setting up club events and memberships, and it helps us spread the word to get new Club Members so your Club can THRIVE! Clubs require a commitment of monthly dues which covers studio space.

Is your goal to SPEND LESS MONEY? It’s hard to do that when there are SO MANY art supplies that are tempting you each month. What if you had everything you needed for unlimited creativity, along with unlimited ideas . . . and a fabulous group of new friends encouraging you to use that creativity! Yes, we’re actually encouraging you to STOP SHOPPING and instead join one of our fun new clubs!!!

Only limited members accepted for each club. Clubs will start in June. So if you want to be part of the club, make sure to RSVP for the first meeting, and sign up that night before your favorite club fills up! Work through Julia Cameron’s amazing book, The ARTIST WAY. Use Julia’s process to unblock your creativity, and you’ll find that your life will never be the same! You will see amazing breakthroughs by going through this book with a support group – plus you’ll have all the Studio supplies at your fingertips for group meetings that will blow your mind! (Just an aside here from Nicole: Did you know that The ARTbar came about because of The ARTIST WAY, right out of my crazy morning pages??? And some of my favorite relationships are the ones I made during my first ARTIST WAY GROUPS. I am so excited to be able to offer this group again here at The ARTbar!!). (Club Fee: $120 for the 12-week group, payable by June 14th upfront, sorry no refunds once you start. Both intro sessions on May 31 and June 7th are $15 each, and are recommended to attend in addition to the book group. They will focus on some exercises to get you going using the tools in the Intro sections of the book. Find out about the special 50% discount, save $60 -- we'll be giving out special details at the Intro meetings! This could be the cheapest group you ever attend at less than $5 per session!)

Do you love PAPER, making your own cards, stamping, TRADING, learning new techniques? Do you know 10 different ways to make background papers, the trick to perfect embossing, how to stamp on metal, add color to stamped images, and what’s so amazing about grungeboard?? This is YOUR CLUB, and THESE ARE YOUR PEOPLE! And finally, something to look forward to halfway through your hectic work week! A night just for you . . . (Club Fee: $29 billed monthly, no minimum monthly commitment; stop when you want. Includes use of studio supplies. Why not try it out!!)

Drop the kids off at school and get your butts over here – it's time for YOU! And because it’s the MOM’s Club, feel free to bring the kids. Or just come by yourself, it’s a little time to create before you pick the kids back up from school again. In summer, we will have kids activities with an ARTtender ready to assist them, so less distraction for you. (Club Fee: $29 per month billed monthly. Includes use of studio supplies.)

Kids Area: We will have a play area set up for toddlers with someone there to play with them. Also we will have art activities set up for ages 3 and up with a dedicated staff member to assist them. (Child Club Fee: $29 per month billed monthly. Includes play area, staffing, and our "mini-bar" for ages 3 and up..)

Santa Ana Stamp Swappers Club, (rent and swap out stamps as often as you wish; meet the last Sunday afternoon of each month to swap cards!)

Otherwise known as the Rubber Rental Memberships -- where you can check out up to 3 stamps at a time from our Studio. Return and swap them out for different ones as often as you like!! The stamp swappers club fee is $15.99. And now, as an extra value, we are including a meeting on the last Sunday of every month (from 5 - 7pm,), for you to share a technique you used and swap cards with each other!
